Western Terminus: M-5 on the Farmington Hills - Livonia border
Eastern Terminus: I-94 @ exit #225, in Harper Woods
Distance: 21 miles

This is the western terminus of M-102 at M-5 on the Farmington Hills - Livonia border.  Prior to 1994, M-102 continued onto Grand River Ave. and onto the current M-5 freeway up to I-96/275/696, while M-5 ended here.  When the first part of the M-5 north of that interchange opened up to 12 Mile in 1994, M-5 replaced M-102 over that routing, leaving M-102 to end at this point.  This photo was taken by Dan Garnell in September 2000.

This is the eastern terminus of M-102 at I-94 in Harper Woods.  At the time this picture was taken, there was a major reconstruction project going on along I-94, which included the rehabilitation of the dual M-102 bridges over I-94.  This is the reason for all the orange barrels and barricades in the picture.  If you look really close in the background, you can just barely see another M-102 ENDS assembly beyond this one on the left side of the roadway.  This photo was taken by Dan Garnell on April 20, 2002.
