M-45's western terminus, shown here, is at US-31, between Holland and Grand Haven. Because US-31 is a divided highway at this point, a "Michigan left" is required to access southbound US-31. Therefore, there is a right arrow beneath the SOUTH US-31 assembly. This terminus was photographed on May 19, 2002.
This is M-45's eastern terminus at I-196 in Grand Rapids. M-45 was truncated at I-196 after continuing on into downtown Grand Rapids prior to 1994. However, the road that continues on, Fulton St., is an un-numbered state-maintained road. This terminus was shot on May 5, 2002.
